What will your evening be like?
Your evening will begin with a tour inside the immense St. Isaac’s Cathedral (the largest orthodox basilica in the world!), where you’ll discover the story behind this feat of engineering and architecture.
After taking in the interior, we will head up the 250+ steps to the observation deck that surrounds the St. Isaac’s cupola, the fourth largest in the world. Once there, you will be able to soak in a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of this magnificent city.
Next, we will visit Nevsky Prospect, home to the most beautiful grocery store in Russia and the country’s largest bookstore, which was once a Singer sewing machine store. There will be opportunities to shop for local souvenirs, have a glass of wine (or shot of vodka), and indulge in Russia’s famous pastries.
This evening activity is perfect for couples looking for a romantic evening or anyone who would like to enjoy a side of St. Petersburg that most tourists don’t get to see. You shouldn’t miss out on another opportunity to visit Nevksky prospect!
*Please note: This evening option is only available Thursday through Tuesday since the cathedral is closed on Wednesdays
